Awhile ago, One of my Life Groupmates celebrated his Birthday.
He was Elcie, A very cheerful person and has a positive outlook in life!
After our service at Destiny Church Manila at University of the Philippines, We had a simple gathering at the stage near lagoon area. We used to have a sharing activity or discussion about life here, but this time it was made special for our friend's special day. Actually, we planned to surprise him, but he was the one who surprised us. He brought KFC to all of us, which we ate together happily!
It was not just an ordinary celebration, it was simple but really essential to all of us!
We started from a prayer, then our leader introduced our Life Group culture of saying "Kind Words" to Elcie... Well, it has to be our culture everyday, but we dedicated the whole words of kindness for that moment to our celebrant!
Elcie was very appreciative, but one thing i do notice here, I found giving kind words really fulfilling in my heart! I don't know but something was reacting in my body for good!
