HARD WORK OR HEARTWORK

Our heart is one of the vital organs in our body. No question that if we get heart problems, it affect every part of our body. The heart pumps the blood that flows around us, and if it fails then we die. Our heart is a symbol of expressions powered by hormones from our hypohalamus.  When we are happy or sad, somehow, we feel a sensation around our chest. So, our heart is commonly known as a symbol of emotions.
Our heart pumps at different rates, it goes along with our emotions. Believe it or not, Our heart feels sensations uniquely; some hearts are strong and others are weak. Aside from Health aspects, all of us are experiencing heart conditions. Yes, as long as we are alive, we earnestly get different heart conditions along our journey and there is no excemption to the rule.

Our emotions and past conditionings contribute to different heart conditions. It may be positive or negative. It depends on which side have we accommodated in. Are you familiar with the saying that says "Nothing is permanent in this world?" Scientifically speaking, it is a law. People who have heart problems are the people who disregard this scientific law. They tend to stay with an emotion. They tend to be stagnant with their sensations and get used to it.

Have you ever encountered other people who share about being hurt even if it happen a long time ago? or maybe you have come across with someone who dislike something because it reminded them of something negative in the past. It is toxic isn't? We try to comfort them but there is this second thought that comes. "Why did they not let it go". Or in the first place, "why did they not guard their hearts? In a sense, some of them may notice that their hearts are calloused and torn. Some of them are victims of their heart problems which linger on them and turn their hearts either of the following:

a. Stubborn Heart - These are the kind of hearts that stopped from dreaming. These are hearts boxed into a memory that refuses to change. They are "tired" hearts and they usually do not give a try anymore. They lose the sense of loving and they have hard times to trust and love again
b. Bitter Heart - These are hearts which are victims of negative past. They usually look at love in a distorted way. Their reactions are driven by conditioning and they often get negativity with others. They misinterpret love as something that hurts and they have accustomed themselves for retaliation.
c.Fearful Heart - These are hearts which are driven by fear. They worry a lot. They accumulated various "push buttons" of emotional scars and when triggered, they become afraid and their minds think that they are vulnerable to make things in the past happen again.
d. Numb heart - These are hearts seemingly coated with unpleasant experiences. They tend to pretend not feeling anything. They are people who have chosen to be literally numb, unable to express emotions, and distance themselves to any emotional attachment.
These are the different hearts of people who were victims of negative past or unpleasant experiences. Whilst everybody is going through life, enjoying every moment. These kind of hearts unconsciously flow into a pit of misery. little by little these Stubborn, Bitter, Fearful and Numb Heart will soon be flowing into breaking. People who have these kind of hearts experience gloom and unsatisfaction in long run.  Hence, they wear a mask and letting this mask cover the real.

As we go through life, we should ask ourselves," Is my Heart Right?" we may rate ourselves from 1 - 10 about our present heart conditions. We may turn into silence and deeply reflect if we may be categorized having such emotional heart problems. If we believe that our heart is right, then let us be grateful because we are blessed for having such a healthy emotional heart. On the other hand, we should also be cautious because the world is full of misery which in one way or the other may affect our heart. In that case, we should remember the following:

a. Be Aware of Our Emotions - When we are aware of our hearts, we can decide what to let in and let out. Scan our hearts as we go through deep silence and listen to our body. We may notice that there are certain reactions that will occur in various areas, either in the chest or shoulders, or even in any other parts of our body. Be aware of those sensations--- those are emotional energies that linger on our body which we have accumulated in the past. Just be aware of those sensations until it fade away.
b. Settle Things and Do Not Sleep with a Calloused Heart - It is true that when we sleep at night with negativity in our hearts, it will be planted in the next day. Before we sleep, reflect with ourselves, have we settled down everything emotionally before we sleep. If not, work on it. Process it.
c.  Do Not Let Emotions Stay for a Long Time - We are vulnerable entity, our heart is like a funnel that let emotional energies pass in. If we are not aware, these emotional energies either positive of negative may linger in our hearts for a long time. Following the law of impermanence, if we let these emotional energies stay in our hearts, soon it will become an emotional reserves and push buttons which can turn into non rational and unpleasant reactions.
d. Cultivate Your Heart - Through awareness, we can now decide which kind of energies should we let our hearts in. Either with thoughts or visualizations, or any other means, we have the power to cultivate our hearts. We may let it flourish with sympathetic love, or happiness and kindness. We should always remember to guard our hearts not to entertain any negative energies. With this,  we can radiate positive emotional energies to others.

These are the different ways to move our hearts away from emotional problems. I suggest that we survey ourselves. have a quiet time for a moment and decide. "How Will I Make My Heart Right?"
My friend, you may be categorized with any of the emotional heart problems mentioned above. Do not worry, awareness is the start. Accept that you are somehow tired of keeping a calloused heart and i know you want to escape from it. You may be keeping it a long time and you want to be free from these emotional sufferings.

At this moment, please make a decision. Should you let that stay or not. It is in your heart. HARDWORK or HEARTWORK?

P.S. You may wish to undergo "Emotional Processing" provided in Golden Link College Education or participate in the Self Transformation Seminar being held annually. In my next blognotes, i will create a simple guide for emotional processing. I hope it will help.

“The only calibration that counts is how much heart people invest, how much they ignore their fears of being hurt or caught out or humiliated. And the only thing people regret is that they didn't live boldly enough, that they didn't invest enough heart, didn't love enough. Nothing else really counts at all.”
